Mesa Grande

The Bull-A-Ton said, "Bring your mountain bike or hybrid. You may not be too happy riding a road bike." Who reads the Bull-A-Ton? Karen showed up on a road bike and was happy enough.

It was a great day to be in back country San Diego County. There was sun and a following breeze up the mountain. On the way back that breeze kept us from getting too crazy on the downhill.

Once on the pavement it was just a short distance back to Collier Park. A sandwich at Subway completed the ride.

Note to self: Next time, pack a lunch to eat at Mesa Grande. It would be better than those two bars you wolfed down.
