Old Town to Coronado

It's a pretty standard ride but from the turnout it must be pretty popular.

We met at the Old Town Trolley parking lot.

The bike portion of a Triathlon was northbound on the southbound side of Harbor Drive so we went southbound on the northbound lane. I think I got that explanation correct.

We made the obligatory pit stop at Pepper Park.

Everyone wearing a KnickerBiker Jersey posed. Quite a showing.

Then everyone got to pose.

After Pepper Park we crossed the Gordie Shields Bridge.

Finally we were on the new portion of the bike path.

We passed the Salt Ponds with downtown San Diego in the background.

For a change there was a bit of tailwind on the Strand.

After lunch at Spyro's Gyros we bought a ticked and boarded the ferry.

The ferry ride is always fun.

The ferry is a great place for a portrait.

After the ferry ride it is just a short ride to the start at the Trolley Station. Its a ride to do carefully. Fortunately we all were careful and made it safely.

Thank you Paul and Joi for another great Knickerbiker ride.
