| Shame on me. I see I started this right after the ride but didn't finish it. It is now June, 2017 and my memory of the ride has mostly faded. I think the ride was Belle Jour. What I do remember is that we rode through La Jolla Farms. I had ridden close by but never ridden through, "The Farms." I have heard La Jollans speak of it in awed tones. Anyone who lived in "The Farms" should be shown a little extra respect. After riding through it, it seemed to me it must be a scary place. Almost every house is fenced and gated. Maybe you have to be brave to live there. Could that be why you are due extra respect. In any case we all got through there safely. |
