The ride description stated, "Merle is tired of this June gloom. Let's ride from Trolley Square, out to El Monte Park. Hopefully we will see some sun. Knickerkickers can continue on to El Capitan Reservior. We'll eat on our return to Trolley Square. No end of places to eat there. Maybe we'll have worked up an appetite big enough for Phil's BBQ. I don't know if it was the possibility of sun or the probability of Phil's BBQ but there was a good turn out. |

| It had begun to clear when we reached El Monte Park, YEAH! four KnickerKickers rode on to El Capitan Reservoir. The KnickerKickers weren't back by the time this group began the ride back. |
