Lois Leading

18 June, 2017

It was Belle Jour until Lois volunteered to lead. It was supposed to be a hot day. I think Lois just wanted to be sure we stayed close to the coast, just speculating.

We met at the east De Anza Cove parking lot, a three minute ride from where we often meet, north of the Visitor's Center. That's become a misnomer. It is no longer an active visitor's center. Probably since the trees grew up and hid it's distinctive roof, visitor's from the north could no longer find it. Oh well.

Gail had just returned from Ireland

Sorry Sylvia. That's a pretty ugly background. I'm going to move.

This is better

Its nice to see husband and wife riding together.

San Diego's lovely coast

La Jolla Cove, lovely and stinking

After riding through Lo Jolla the ride returned to Pacific Beach then headed to OB for lunch. Your reporter peeled off and headed back to the start.

On the way we were attracted to Briarfield Bros. Brunch Bar.

We stopped for a refreshing glass of lemonade.
