Independence Day, 2017

The 4th of July is always to be looked forward to by Knickerbikers. Traditionally, Bob and Susan have hosted a ride and barbeque. This year due to knee replacement surgery, they regretfully declined. Happily Ken and Sheryl stepped in and offered to host. A BIG Thank You Ken and Sheryl.

A great thing about this celebration is that it brings out riders we don't get to ride with often. It also brings together former riders we are happy to see and recall past rides. All in all, it is a wonderful way to celebrate Independence Day.

Yes. all the septuagenarians made the grade .

After the ride it was back to the King abode. Torrey Pines certainly raises an appetite. We were ready for the barbeque and accompaniments. Thank you to everyone who brought those accompaniments. They were wonderful.
