Las Pulgas to San Clemente Pier

Las Pulgas to San Clemente Pier and lunch? I didn't know San Clemente had a pier. Did she mean the pier at Dana Point. We rode there for lunch when we used to do the Sea Level Century that Fern led. I called Rhonwyn for clarification. She said, "Yes, there is a pier in San Clemente and there is a nice restaurant there." Well, it is nice to learn something new. Good to know I'm not too old to learn.

Something else I learned. Las Pulgas, translated from Spanish is, the fleas. I never saw any there. Of course you never do until it is too late. Don't feel flea bitten so I guess I'm okay.

We didn't take a group photo at the start of the ride, "too ugly" so we just started riding.

Is he going the wrong direction? No, just on the other side of the photographer.

Larry, where are you going? We want you in the photo.

Now he's back and the background is so much nicer.

It is so nice to do a ride where there is so little traffic.
Thank you Rhonwyn for leading this great ride.

This is a copy of the route slip. The Track below is at variance with the route slip in that the track does not go left on Valencia but follows the bike route signs to Ave Del Presidente.
