A Wednesday Ride

It was a typical Wednesday ride, I suppose. Admittedly, your correspondent hasn't been to a Wednesday ride recently so doesn't really know what typical is. After some discussion, the group raced off the Doyle Park. Some riders returned from there. The rest slowed down a bit and rode through UCSD to the top of Torrey pines and turning around. Lunch was at Bella Vista Social Club and Cafe. This was a favorite of many in the group. After one visit I would add it to my list of favorites as well.

Ken says, "Thanks, everyone, for showing up today and riding in this nice weather! It was a little windy on our return, but we’re tough. I was hoping for a little more than 23 miles, but it was still fun. Going through the ever-changing maze of UCSD med center is always a little challenging, but ya’ll stuck together well. Thanks, Gail, for getting us through there! And riding to the top of Torrey Pines from Mission Bay has a lot of light traffic and bike paths, so that’s good. Finally, it was fun introducing several of you to the “Bella Vista Social Club & Caffe.” Yeah, I know: odd name. No group photo today, but Merle took many individual shots of riding, so he may share a few of those. See you on another ride soon!"

Well, here are the photos. Enjoy
